The post office in Eaton Rapids was completed in 1938 with funds provided by the Treasury Department. The building, which houses an example of New Deal artwork, is still in service.
Post Office Mural – Eaton Rapids MI
Boris Mestchersy painted the oil-on-canvas mural “Industry and Agriculture” in 1938. Viewable in the lobby of the historic Eaton Rapids post office, the work was commissioned by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts.
